Our very own Reading Specialist, Marcy Berns, would like to invite the SCPA community to a screening of the film, The Right to Read, by filmmaker Jenny Mackenzie. The screening is happening at SCPA on Tuesday, February 4 from 4-7.
There will be a panel discussion following the film featuring Dr. Kareen Moncree-Moffett (Cincinnati Public Schools Board of Education, Moncor, LLC, Youth Lead Alliance: Hear us Now, and Cincinnati NAACP), Brent Johnstone (Fathers Read 365), Dr. Amy Murdoch (Assistant Dean, Reading Science Program of Mount St. Joseph University), Cincinnati Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Lemon Kearny, and Cincinnati City Councilmember Meeka Owens.
