It’s almost election season for the PTSO. What does that mean, and how does it effect you?
- The PTSO Board is a group of volunteers who help steer the work of the PTSO.
- The President is elected every year.
- All other Board positions have two year terms.
- Many of our Board Members had NEVER served in this way before being elected.
- YOU CAN DO THIS!

What positions are up for election this year?
- President
- Acts as general leader of the PTSO by attending most events, keeping in touch with the principal and artistic director, and coordinating meetings.
- Vice President of Administration
- Supports the President with administrative tasks and keeps track of PTSO by-laws.
- Secretary
- Creates agendas for meetings, then records and distributes minutes.
- Co-Treasurer
- Maintains budgets, records financial information, makes deposits and/or writes checks.
- Volunteer Director
- Engages with families to boost involvement and volunteerism in our community by recruiting and organizing volunteers.
