Missed this month’s meeting? Here’s a quick rundown of what’s going on with your friendly, neighborhood PTSO!
- PTSO at work:
- Provided desserts for the staff holiday party.
- Next week we’ll be providing a comfort station for kids auditioning for SCPA. We’ll have water, bandaids, and hopefully some oranges!
- We’ll be providing food for the Black History Month Celebration performer and volunteers next month. You can MATCH our donation HERE!
- Save the Date! There will be a Junior High Dance on April 24 after school. More info to come soon!
- Keep your eyes peeled for the brand new Garten Klub, officially launching next month!
- Administration Updates:
- Faculty and staff are helping students reset in the new year to help our kiddos meet their learning goals.
- Third grade math teachers and students are doing an amazing job this year, with 75% already hitting their learning goals for the year!
- Chronic absenteeism is a problem in our district, and in our school. Almost 25% of our students are chronically absent. If you are struggling to get your child to school for any reason, please reach out to our administrators or school social workers. We’re all in this together
