SCPA PTSO

The PTSO’s biggest fundraiser of the year is Friday, October 2 at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company! Maybe you’ve heard about After Hours, but you’re not sure what it is, or who should come. So let’s talk about it.

After Hours is a casual night out for adults that love SCPA. Maybe you are a parent or grandparent that wants to support the teachers and students at our school. This night is for you. Maybe you are an alum who remembers just how wonderful your experience was at SCPA. This night is for you. Maybe you are a community member who comes to see our mainstage productions or has always been curious about SCPA. This night is for you. Or maybe you are a teacher or administrator looking for a way to build community. This night is for you.

After Hours is for everyone who supports SCPA.

The PTSO works hard all year to provide support for teachers, administrators, students, and families. We organize events like Major Musical concessions, food for teachers on Parent Teacher Conference night, and Coffee Chats that encourage parents to get to know one another. We have tables at Literacy Night and Math Night. We offer financial and volunteer support for both the artistic and academic teachers at our school. We supply items for the Star Store, SCPA’s PBIS rewards program that encourages positive behaviors from students.

When you join us for a fun, casual night out at After Hours, you are doing more than enjoying a fun night out with the SCPA community, you are funding the hard work of the PTSO. One night out with friends turns into a full year of positive impact.

So, join us! Buy your tickets before we sell out. After Hours is held right across the street from the school at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. It’s a fantastic venue, but space is limited, so it’s best to get tickets early. I can’t wait to see you there!
